MEMBERS SHOP
It was mentioned at the AGM that a large shop delivery was scheduled for 18th November and this
has enabled us to restock before prices rise even further than they have already. As a result the
shelves are now brimming, indeed the shop is full to the gunnel's (as evidenced by the pictures).

You will see that we have plenty of 4’ and 8’ bamboo canes and whilst we did order some 6’ canes, it seems there are no stocks of in the country. But we do have
our name on a bale which is on a slow boat from China which we have been assured will dock before the New Year.
Another picture shows one of the wheelbarrows we have in stock. We also have a green one and can get them in lilac, pink and lime if preferred.

Demand for Landscape Bark fell last year and due to the shortage of storage space we have decided
not to purchase any. However, it has been retained on the price list and can be ordered if required.

Regular shop opening will commence on Saturday 4th March 2023 [10am until noon] and will continue each Saturday until 29 July. However we recognise that some members with tunnels and greenhouses will be keen to get growing before March. Therefore we are planning to also open the shop for collection of orders on
14th January and 18th February. Anyone wishing to place an order can do so by emailing jenandrog.satariano@btinternet.com.jenandrog.satariano@btinternet.com.

All the very best to everyone for the coming year. We are looking forward to welcoming plenty of
newcomers and all our regular customers at some time in 2023. For those who haven’t been to the
Members Shop, it is just inside grass track gate to Kirkby Road Allotments - almost opposite the
cemetery gates. HG4 2HG will find it for SatNav users.

PRICE LIST
We continue to do our best to keep prices as low as possible for members but the price list has
had to be revised to reflect the increase in prices from or suppliers, some of which have been
significant. I am sorry to say further increases during 2024 seem inevitable : it seems there
is no end in sight to the rises in production, material and transport costs.
